  4. SoundX gives your program Soundex, Extended Soundex, and Metaphone
  5. information.  These algorithms translate words (names) into cdoes that
  6. can be used to look up like-sounding words.

  8. Use the output of one of these algorithms as an indexed field in
  9. your next database to make finding names easier.

  29. LICENSING / DISTRIBUTION

  31. You may distribute the registered VBX with your applications royalty-free.
  32. You may not disitrbute the registered VBX without your application (except
  33. as an update for an already installed program).  Each developer should
  34. register SoundX for use on their machine.

  39. You can register this program by sending $10 and your address
  40. (international orders should send $12).  If you are a CompuServe member,
  41. you can register this in the Software Registration forum (GO SWREG).
  42. It's registration number is 1272.

  44. If you would like the registered version E-mailed to you, the price
  45. is $5.  Registrations done via the SWREG forum on CompuServe are
  46. E-mailed to your CompuServe account.  I can mail files to Internet
  47. addresses as well (uuencoded, of course).  Please give a full

  53. Source code for this program is available for $25 ($30 for international
  54. orders).  A registered version of the control comes with the source code.
  55. So, you are automatically registered when you get the source code.

  113. Updates are free.  For minor releases (such as if I correct a 
  114. spelling mistake in this README file), you probably won't hear from
  115. me.  I'll be happy to send it to you anyway, if you ask for it.
  116. But, when a major release is made (lots of extra functionality
  117. bug fix, etc.), I will notify all registered users.  And, I'll make
  118. every attempt to properly update everyone.
